Much like the 1960 Post Cereal Sports Figure Series, this 6 ½” by 8 ½” card is the entire back panel of the 6 ½” by 8 ½” by 2
⅜
” 8-ounce size 1944 Wheaties Box.  The box is 100% intact with all panels and in excellent condition—much better than most Wheaties boxes from this era. The card was part of the 14-card Wheaties All Star Sports Series.
Bernie Bierman was an absolute football icon and won 5 NCAA Division I football championships while coaching the Minnesota Gophers before they were “golden.”  This box is likely unique in this format and is the ultimate Wheaties football collectible.
Note: Wheaties boxes produced during WWII are found in much smaller quantities than those produced directly prior to and directly after the war. The complete 8-ounce box is likely the only one of its kind.
